Distance Learning by Open University

There is no age bar for Education. Yes, it is but I say more there is no any geographical bar too for Education. If we ask to someone why you are not pursuing your further education? The likely answer are no money, time, busy, etc. solution of this all problem is Distance learning mode education.

The degree earned by Distance learning mode is as same as Degree earned by regular college going students. Only drawback is you will miss the college life and other activities. But there are many benefits that you not need to leave your present job, family and invest huge amounts. If you are a house wife, job holder, working in far remote areas, not enough finance to go college then Distance learning mode suits your all need. You must allot at least the prescribed hour as suggested for your study. Distance learning mode education is known as private study in Nepal

If you have decided to pursue your further studies by Distance mode/ Open learning mode. The college or university will provide you all the study materials, audio visual aids, old questions and your questions answer via mail or Internet.

In Nepal there are many national and international colleges which provide distance learning mode education. Namely TU is the national largest University which provides Proficiency Level to Master Level distance mode education. You will get all subject related books in the book shops. If you have not passed your SLC level education you can study private SLC too, there are many tuition centres which will assist you for this.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU): This University has more than four authorised centres in Nepal. Kathmandu, Dharan, Biratnagar, Narayanghat. In Kathmandu ICA International Study Centre is conducting these courses. You can study the following courses:
Bachelor Preparatory Programme of 6 months who does not have 10+2 education. After the completion of this coerce you can study Bachelor level education.

Similarly DLP in Bagbazar also run IGNOU course and other courses from Karnataka University.

Hope International College, Satdobato: Provides Bachelor to Master level studies in humanities, business administration, and computer education. HOPE also conducted distance mode MBA, affiliated by Purvanchal University. This also conducts many courses from Indian Universities.

Lord Buddha Education Foundation: This also provides many courses from Bachelor level to Master level in different subjects of your choice. This has very good reputation conducting BBA, BCA, MBA, BSc, MSc courses in Nepal. For details visit www.elbef.org.
